每逢庙会都会有潮剧团来岛演出，小时候陪阿嬷去看潮剧，印象最深刻的是戏台前的戏迷会随着剧情的变化而发出的阵阵喝彩，第二天，意犹未尽的阿嬷还会跑去跟她的老伙伴们继续谈论昨晚的大戏。
Whenever there is a carnival in the temple, the Teowchew Opera group will come to the island to perform. When I was young I followed granny to watch these Opera, the most unforgettable moment is when all the Opera fans will cheer according to what was happening in the Opera. Day 2(after the Opera), as though just watching the Opera was not enough, granny would run to find her friends to continue talking about the Opera.
